Ryder Henry was born June 3, 2011 about 2:30 pm at 7lbs, 7 oz.

Hi there! First congratulations on your new family! I'm reaching out because my partner and I are expecting. We have a traditional surrogate that is due 11/11/11. We have a contract and all legal issues taken care of but I'm wondering what happens at the hospital at the birth. What was your experience? I hope you don't mind sharing. Plus it would be nice to know some gay dads in Seattle. Thanks! Chris
